Why are German cars so awful now?
>>
jews

They've always been. Only wogs think a Merc or BMW is a flex.

they were still good pre-1995

Somehow Jews and/or women are surely to blame
>>
>>223678095
Unironically pajeet infestation.
>>
>>223678341
This plus anything "smart"/IoT is just a waiting game until the company decides they want to get more money at the expense of people who have already paid.
>>
>>223678095
they're being produced in hungary
>>
>>223681026
Those are for the American market which are made in Mexico (USA).
I thought americans love capitalism.
>>
>>223678095
Do the cars have an internet connection or something? Makes me realise just how much simpler things are driving an older car; I don't have to worry about any of this sort of stuff. Having a screen in the car seems kind of odd, like it would be a big distraction if anything.
>>
>>223678113
They're expensive luxury cars, so they're essentially a "flex" of your money, regardless of ethnicity. Probably no different to wearing expensive brand name clothing or luxury watches, or whatever.
>>
>>223678095
If your car shows you ads, does that mean you get the heated seats without monthly fees?
>>
Are heated seats really good enough to even want? I can't help but think the sensation would make me paranoid that I've pissed myself, or something.

Not for Australians
>>
>>223681270
Not for spring/summer, obviously, kek. But even when it's freezing cold in the car, I can't help but think that your arse is probably the last thing you'd be worried about warming up. It's usually your hands or face, right?
>>

Enshittification, style over practicability, greedy business practices, the jews

no hate, but Audi/BMW/Mercedes/VW are just more premium than French car brands. You have your strenghts in other fields.

BMW is like the iPhone of cars.
You use it to flex and get pussy. Other than that, it's a piece of garbage.

Things that are making physical contact are the most painful. Face doesn't matter because it isn't touching anything. What is touching in a car: feet, ass, back, and hands. You are wearing some kind of boots or shoes so your feet don't matter. You are wearing some kind of coat so your back doesn't matter. Only things left are ass and hands and cars often come now with heated seats and heated steering wheels for that reason. Jeans lose a lot of heat when you sit down in a -20c car, they aren't insulating at all.
>>
>>223681093
No worries Anon, in the future cars will not even have a steering wheel, gas nor break pedals either, actually they will not have any way to be driven manually infact because it will all be just a screen on a dash board with an AI asking you where do you want to do.

This sounds silly and deranged, and it is but big people are trying to lobby changes to law to allow this to happen.
One day, having a car will be no different than public transport, except being alone.
>>
>>223684460
>want to do.
want to go.*
>>
>>223678095
They are not made by Germans
>>
>>223682801
I mean they have their own luxury cars like the rolls royce, aston martin etc
>>
>>223681304
Heated seats warm up your entire body. It's a very nice feature, especially when it's -20°C outside. Warms you up much faster than the AC alone. There are heated steering wheels too, but I've never tried a car that has one. If it's really cold, I just use thin gloves when driving

Modern screen displays are so fucking worthless...
They need to make picrel the norm again. Now that would be kinoooo
>>
>>223678095
German EVs are just BYDs at this point. Why pay twice more when the car is basically the same?
>>
>>223678113
In the 90s they were peak though
>>
>>223684160
why are you wearing just jeans in -20
>>
>>223685367
Wdym? Jeans are fine, unless you're spending hours outside

I hate how car makers are pushing electronics, Internet and AI into cars now. I never asked for this. I just want a normal car that drives from A to B.
>>

This is the proper answer.

mazda still has very traditional interior
>>
>>223682171
>because we pay our workers good wages

That's just justifying utter inefficiency and 40 years of socialism ruining german car makers.

The current reckoning has been a long time coming, and most car makers here deserve al lof it. If you really ask people working there they will tell you the whole operation is one inefficient mess. Every dude gets dragged on until he retires after earning way above average for decades.
>>
>>223678095
I dont think they are that much worse now. It is just two things, Korean brands have caught up and they have better value. And Western Euro economies have been stagnating so it is harder and harder for people to afford German cars. If money does not matter much German cars are still preferable. There is a good reason why Skoda is so popular nowadays, you can essentially get a budget Audi. The problem is with economic stagnation
>>
>>223685367
It's fine. I don't even own insulated pants and I live in Maine. Unless you are going to be outside for like 2 hours plus it doesn't matter.
>>
>>223678095
When will this enshittification come to an end? Do you think the nuking of india and sterilization of all those with indian genes would help?
>>
Their car industry deserves everything that's happening to it. They'd rather go all in on becoming expensive "luxury brands" instead of making something their people can afford and would actually want to buy. The best thing you can do for the German car industry is to just buy a Chinese car instead
>>
>>223687796
It is fine to apply this logic to Volkswagen but Audi/BMW/Merc were ALWAYS expensive. It is just people getting poorer

>Chinese cars
I like them and they are getting popular here but not even similar in any aspect. They compete with the cheaper brands like Dacia, at best the Korean brands. Two entirely different segments with different customer base

>>

Because they OD'd on the chinese pill
>>
>>223687796
This, and it's a common theme among western automakers, they're all chasing luxury and higher end models.
VW doesn't have a single decent model left here besides the Jetta and that's expensive as fuck, it's just sad.
>>
>>223678095
Can't compete with the Chinese.
>>
>>223681253
like almost everything
women are the targeted consumers
my gf has a long list of "wants" in a car
guess how many things on that list has anything to do with driving
