The SEAs have opened a grocery store in my hood so I went over there and got panang curry ingredients and then made panang curry at home with some chicken. Insanely good and very easy to make.
I'm going to keep posting to keep this thread alive and to say that I'm also making biltong from some beef bottom round. I eat absurd amounts when I'm in biltong land but here it's extremely expensive due to beef prices and the eternal Dutchman's desire for profit. I made a batch already I wasn't satisfied with but I think this one is gonna be delicious. At current rate of weight loss it should be ready by Saturday

I think more commonly with pork in Germany (Mettbrötchen). I'll eat raw fish and maybe a little raw beef if I have some trimmings from a roast but generally I avoid it. $20 a pound is insane though, is game common/ cheaper up there?
