Do you have a weird accent in your native language? Once an old man told me I sounded like I was speaking English, while other people say I sound like my nose is stuffy. I think it might be because I tend to speak with my mouth more closed or something, so sometimes it just sounds like a bunch of uh sounds with random consonants thrown in. Like, apparently when I say amanhã it comes out sounding like uhmennyun or something
Brazilian reminds me of deaf people who speak in a very deep voice

If I don't make a conscious effort to avoid it, I slip into that stupid mexican fresa accent, the one that sounds lazy and draws out words. It comes naturally to me, so I have to try not to do it and speak more neutrally instead.

These days I just pronounce everything the way I'm naturally used to
I don't really have a dialect but I grew up out in the bush so I use a lot of words from what we refer to as farmer's dialect
