Houses here cost 1 million dollars despite being a desert wasteland and having no jobs because rich people were convinced it's an artsy place
>>223753922Fun factI was born here. It sucked.
>>223753922Marfa is cool doe, always a good stop when visiting Big Bend>>223754239Can you please stop making posts that feel intensely local to me thanks
>>223754353man how the hell is BONHAM local to you? It's like a 10 hour drive from the border.
>>223754380I'm from Northeast DFW, I used to go to a temple up in Denison driving through BonhamWhat are you doing out in Japan anyways, Pvt. Vasquez
>>223753922I feel like Texas as a whole is an insanely overrated state. Yes, housing is cheaper than other desirable states, but property taxes are retardedly high, schools suck unless you're wealthy, and it's full of insane crosscucks.
>>223754429My dad is Japanese. Mom is from Bonham. I moved here when my old man decided to go back home.
>>223754522Konichiwa, dude! What race is your mom?
>>223754603White red head.Dad was a chad and pulled mad puss puss. Still does. It's not genetic btw I'm extremely unpopular.
>>223754640Damn, japanese dudes seem to have way better luck than other asian guys, but holy gigachad.Sorry bro, I hope you at least get to slam some puss occasionally.
>>223754469and this is the lifestyle
>>223754677Yeah, my dad is the stereotypical チャラい sorta dude, despite it he was a good dad, I'm just beyond help.
>>223754721what are they queueing for?
>>223754807dropping kids off for school lmao
>>223754640Holy based dad. Mine was an autist and I got those genes from him.
>>223754239Fun factI was born here. It REALLY sucked.
>>223754854McAllen and Brownsville are complete dumps.
>>223754872YeahI know
>>223754879Do you still live there?
>>223754885No, thank god
>>223753922I know a guy who moved to San Antonio because he became some christian schizo
>>223754854not a long drive to your real home across the borderconsider staying there
My family's been in Texas pretty much as long as it's been a state though
>>223754640>Mom is a redhead and dad is japaneseAny red hairs in beard or in hair?
>>223755432Yeah I've got red in my hair, really shows when my hair is long and I'm in the sun. I have fairly light hair for a mixed guy.
>>223754750Why’d you leave the states?
Live your myth in Marfa, Texas
>>223754239>pvt fernandez meme is realkek
>>223756390Thought it'd be cool and I'd get mad pussy.Wanted to be closer to my "roots" whatever that means. It's all been a sham.
>>223754239I've been there. Why the fuck is everyone so fat?
>>223754429>We went to Temple in Texas for many years What business is it of mine, where you're from? Friendo.
POV: you larp as Texas diaspora. Everything is bigger in Texas including the larpers. Amarillo smells like shit
>>223753922>>223754239>>223754854why would you live out there in Texas when the only worthy places that aren't meth dens is the San Antonio-Houston-Austin triangle?
>>223757114You don't choose where you're born
>>223755432RAREARE
>>223757126Still, imagine being born in Lubbock and losing your EBT card o algo
>>223757041Incredibly car dependent area. I lived on a farm road as a kid at my grandma's property and the place was a solid half hour drive from our local walmart. Most people here are also kinda poor so they'll just opt for a local dollar store rather than make the arduous... 20 minute trip to the walmart or brookshires (if they have enough money) that is in town. A pseudo food desert, if you will. Also Texans are just kinda fat.
>>223757072West Texas still looks basically the same 40 years later, just the signs have LEDs and digital screens now instead of neonAbsolute shithole
>>223754854SOVL
>>223757325The car dependency combined with the food is what makes Texans fat generally. What radicalized me was realizing that the only thing to walk to within an hour of my childhood home in the burbs was a Braum's exactly an hour away with no sidewalk for a good chunk of it
Fun factI was born here. It sucked.
>>223757575Have you been to the hall of fame before?
>>223757575Have you seen Mr. Vance before in the wilds of Ohio
