China is literally a plus sized Singapore. It is absurd how little to do in their mega-cities even though they like to boast about their millennia-spanning history. Every cities look the same, and the only thing to do there is to spend money in some generic fancy shopping mall. On the off-chance you wanted to go see history, you'll be directed to the old city, only for you to discover its basically a theme park constructed in 2018. But somehow even Singapore feels more authentic and relaxing than any Chinese cities.
