Lived in Bangkok for 9 months. It's alright. Had everything I needed and was way cheaper than the west. I always wanted to live in a big city without the cost of what it is over here.

Hard to make friends though. I lived in Japan for 2 years attending a language school. I found that it was the easiest time in my life to make friends because we all had something in common that brought us there. For Bangkok, the expats are probably the worst in the world. Most are just there because they saw videos of how cheap it was on tiktok/instagram and want to LARP as super successful alpha males while working some shitty remote job or collecting some form of disability.

Went to like 3 meetup events and didn't meet a single person I liked.
