the existence of free will is a myth or not in your country?
>>223958713Could an infinitely smart and infinitely knowing machine predict the future with 100% accuracy?
why dont (You) tell me what your religion says about it
>>223958713i never understood what the concept even means like people make choices thats free will no? how can it not exist.it just seems like people define it to be a different thing in every conversation
>>223958762over an infinitely spanning amount of time yes it's possible>>223958763it denounces and supports the existence of free will and to argue either in favor or against free will is irrelevant because reality becomes an illusion
Free will is obviously non existent..you just have to think about it for 10 minutes and it will be obvious
>>223959048This, if time is linear, is free will even possible?
>>223958861If so than there is no free will because you are always a slave to your predictability.
>>223959082even if one is a slave to predictability then that still doesn't disprove one's free will or lack of freedom to choose though>>223959082if infinite outcomes of a choice exist in all possible times in the future, then they exist only because you had the freedom to choose that outcome even if they were predetermined or not you still have to ultimately make the choice for that outcome to be your reality>but you were always going to choose A over Byes but I still chose.

I exercise my free will by choosing to shart all over this thread BRRRRRTT clean it up bitch
I do not consent to just being an interaction of subatomic particles in a controlled predictable way. If the whole complexity of the cosmos leads to it being just a predetermined reel on the spacetime continuum then truly the demiurge is real.
>>223958713Not a myth but a lot of retards think determinism explains everything which is 90% of the time them assuming they know more about the world than they actually do. There will never be a deterministic model that explain all of human behavior and philosophically speaking denying free will is denying the existence of agency and sapient intelligence in favor of a flawed deterministic model nobody has ever been able to prove. Determinism is purely a reductivistic cope made by cynical midwits
>>223958713Free will is conditional, it depends on your understanding of truth. Only by really understanding the world can you plan your actions and affect change around you, otherwise you are just a hapless observer with no understanding of what happens or will happen, just letting the world control you. Also only marxism offer true understading of the world btw.
>>223959341did you chose to be born as an Indian?
>>223959665>dialectical materialism>true understanding of the worldDidn't work out so good
>>223959836They misinterpreted the teachings of Marx (pbuh(proretarians be upon him))
>>223959701hopefully so and i'd choose again a thousand times more if it meant living the same life again born to the same parents again growing up in the same neighborhood with the same friends going to the same school againIF i get to choose>>223959395fuck off dalitjeet
>>223959943Holy based
>>223959964I don't recall ever choosing my gender, nationality, place of birth, etc etc, it seems arbitrary. And the main argument against free will is that you don't even chose your own thoughts to begin with, you might think you do but you don't. In other words you don't have agency over the thoughts that emerge in your consciousness and subsequently your actions in general. Thoughts just emerge into your subconscious and then you become aware of them. Also, your mood, behavior, etc are all determined and influenced by so many different factors from your body that you have zero control over, like your got microbiome which influences dopamine and serotonin. Its all a complex mess of things affecting your life that you have ZERO control over.
>>223959048define free will
