this happend to my small district too. Haven't been there in like 15 year and wtf either all shops are closed or its some turkish or arab shop. It feels ao dystopian. Everyone there today is either a turk a syrian or some low clasa drug addict german. Also a huge number of gypsies from romania are there now. Feels like some euro version of detroit

I lived in my town my entire life but the worst thing that happened was the destruction and disappearance of domestic companies that make food among others.
When I was a kid I could buy delicious ice-creams from Ledo that were large, cheap and had a lot of different ingredients, they also made some very good goulash-like meals for the microwave that were better than some proper meals today. The town's largest company for baked goods made some delicious krafne and deserts for prices that seem like nothing today.
Then the EU happened, all the companies suddenly went bankrupt or bought by foreign companies. The same ice-creams that I once loved from Ledo are now smaller, more expensive and have like 2 ingredients. And in the entire town only one Bosnian/Albanian place sells normal krafne, everything else is some small plastic tasting shit like Ml*nar.
