What is localization/translation like in your country? Does it bug anybody else when translators add random lines and commentary that were not in the original?

Is this a fan translation, or the translation the game was sold with in English speaking countries?

In my cvnt they do worse things to the titles. Regarding the content, it is hits and misses. Depends on the budget allocated for the translation, and when it was translated.

Final Fantasy VII (yes the one that latinX love to make fun of us with), and the first MSG were notorious by their bad translations. Former gen games were sold using the English translation, gaming was too niche to justify several languages on expensive cartridges.
