What is it like to work in the hospitality industry?
>>223973742Shit working hours, lots of stress and garbage payt. former chef
I enjoy the rushI enjoyed interacting with customers when I used to work in a more customer oriented roleI enjoy the camaraderieThe hours don't bother me because I have no friends
>>223973856Also I was a NEET for a long time so I don't have any employability at all so the pay doesn't bother me muchI'm just happy to have a job
>>223973755Damn, that's crazy. Thank you for your service. I would have enlisted myself because I got that beast in me you know what I'm sayin' but things came up.
>>223973742I've always disliked it
>>223973856>>223973871Sounds believable and not like exploitation at all
>>223973742I’m one of the smart ones that doesn’t work unless I have a degree maybe but i lived with a chef and he didn’t mind unfortunately
>>223973755Fuckin' hell, I can't imagine the inferno you survived. I kneel and salute
>>223974000>>223976183??
Shit wages and long shifts without social security usually. The ideal job for desperate immigrants who are used to their countries' misery.
>>223976231That's right, us civvies could never get it

>>223973742Last week I had to deal with englishmen from England, and they're genuinely insufferable. I wish they would never leave their angloid Island.
>>223973742Been neeting for 2 months and the job centre has got me applying again. It was easy work, heat didnt bother me. It was just seeing the same people, working next to a very loud pizza oven. And never having 2 days off in a row which was the breaking point. If I could switch jobs I would but everyone says to try a new kitchen first
>>223973856+1 on the hours. Going to the cinema on a Monday is nice
Absolute worst sector out there in every possible way. Supermarkets hijack all their workers
