Two years ago the wildfires in my state decimated... well, my state. Do you have yearly devestating wildfires like California does in your country?
hello no sis we rake over here

>>223982522Currently the Hürtgenwald (a famous battleground of WW2) is suffering a forest fire.Yesterday it was pronounced officially to be under control and receding - and today's rainfall also helped. 300 hectares were affected by the fire and the fire fighters had to content with the danger of unexploded munitions. As far as I could find out no first responders were injured and only 5 civilians were injured (one suffering a stroke due to the stress of the evacuation).Damages are limited so not really a devastating occurrence. But many suspect arson. And there is now also a forest/bog fire in Belgium that is quite close to the german border.

>>223982522That year was particularly awful for the USA and Mexico in terms of drought and heat. Two years ago these two phenomena also decimated the fir forest in my town of San Goblino de las Vacas, it also dried our iconic water spring. And this wasn't even in northern Mexico where climate is naturally dry, it was in central mountainous Mexico.

>>223982738>That year was particularly awful for the USA and Mexico in terms of drought and heat.Ironically, this was a good year for Monterrey. A lot of rain and better weather than former years.
>>223982738>San Goblino de las Vaca>San GoblinoNo way that's real
California has wildfires because it's a fucking desert and in the 60s they imported a fuckton of Eucalyptus trees from Australia and those trees are brimming with insanely flammable eucalyptus oil and 2+2=wildfires every year
>>223983200Yeah, they fucked up bigly. Eucalyptus are a horrible plant, anyway.
