I visited the singular hindu food restaurant in mexico city recently and realized that their men are indeed not the most blessed race in appearance. They do have this custom of staring at people, but they are not openly rude on the contrary humble. In my case the waiter of course didn't speak fluent spanish but akwardly said words in English so i just talked to him in English and he was not offended by it.

Overall i realize i do not dislike them as people, it is their religion in both deeper and outwardly expression that repulses me. Samsara, reincarnation, the inherent nihilism of believing life is a worthless illusion and that we're stuck in a cycle of rebirth that makes improving your lot useless is as much disgusting as the eating of cow dung to me

There are some unfortunate souls that got stuck here trying to cross the border but its a microscopic minority barely grasping onto the thousand and a half in a country of 134 million. I think the internet hostility and larping needed to have some sort of reason to come, and ive realized it is personal.

The hostility is from lived experiences in regards to hippie or orientalist ideas, and i believe from other mexicans on twitter or the likes its projecting their hatred of those onto all of Hinduism, but maybe they just joined in the bullying to get white people points, i don't know, im just telling you my personal reasons

I get that first world countries have this attitude towards third world countries but a Mexican, really? Even if you wanted to, do you really think you're in a position to civilise anybody?
