Last book I read was To Rule All under Heaven: A History of Classical China, from Confucius to the First Emperor
It's an intro to the Warring States period and I thought it was pretty good. Currently reading King Stephen by Edmund King. Not as good, but I've been meaning to get back to reading English Kings.
(you) should read all five books of the Hundred Years War series by Sumption
