Visit Polska, It’s nice

I do, every day

Poland has a lot of "okayish" places but truth is, none of them is truly outstanding by European standards so it's hard to convince a foreign tourist to come exactly to Poland if you can see "similar but better" places somewhere else

like, why would you come to Poland to see a castle if you have Germany or Czechia with better castles?
why would you come to Poland for the sea, if there is Croatia or Greece?
why would you come to Poland for the mountains, if there's Switzerland or Italy?
why would you come to Poland to see le heckin' commieblocks, if there's Ukraine or Romania?

most of these places Poles think are great, aren't that great by European/world standards, we only think like that because we're emotionally connected to them

there is a story back in the interwar period when the Italian foreign minister visited Poland and noted in his diary
>The Poles showed me Kraków and seemed to be very proud of its historical heritage but for us Italians it could as well go unnoticed
>>
>>224021762
And what to do there? Going on the streets and drinking beer?
I can do it here too.

You and lots of other russians should visit poland.

Wroclaw, Rozanka. That's probably the entire immigrant population of those buildings behind them, wonder what they're doing here. There are lots of Indians and Nigerians working for BNY, EY and UBS for sure, some students too.

How does Poland have gopniks? They're all civilised, smart and cultured unlike Turkish south Slavs and mongol Russians.
>>
>>224024231
Alcoholism was a big issue in the 90s but I don't think there was ever an appeal to the playground mothers like that. But the law definitely worked, it's nicer now and there's much less (overt) alcoholism now.

Big new thing is night prohibition, after 10PM you can't buy alcohol. The effects on the population are immediate, as there's less medical/police incidents st night, but of course the drinkers were protesting. Because they're too stupid and compulsive to buy alcohol beforehand.
>>
>>224024322
We don't have gopniks, we have dresiarze and they're almost extinct.

we don't hold any negative stereotype against south Slavs desu, we either ignore or like them and their "Turkish" part is actually something that makes it more attractive rather than the other way round. We don't associate Turkish culture with something backward, unlike westerners. Remember that Polish nobility borrowed a lot of culture from Turkey.

Like Balkan music was and is quite popular in Poland because of how exotic it sounds to us. Goran Bregović was very big in Poland.

I see Serbs are pretty obsessed about Sorbs, at least on the internet. Any video about Sorbs has hundreds of Serbian comments under it. So sad Croats aren't so obsessed about us, I don't see them caring about us (their ancestors!) at all

funniest thing is that while there are hundreds of thousands of Serbs in Germany, almost none of them immigrates exactly to Saxony, to help rebuild the Serbo-Sorbian community
>>
>>224025583
>to help rebuild the Serbo-Sorbian community
I do not respect people without their army and the state.
Those Slavs have been under German boot since what, 8th century? And now their language and community only survive because of the German government. Historically, they've been part of Germany even during it's most radical anti-Slavic stage (WWII). I find that humiliating.

Serbs are simply naturally curious people that care about history and lineage. I don't speak for all but for me, Sorbs are an useless trivia.
They go to Germany to make money, not to rebuild Sorbian relations.
Regard the fact that we might care about this more than Croats, Serbia simply has much more mountain input than Croatia. I come from an area in Montenegro, though my family probably comes from Kosovo, can't say for certain. Most of us descend from mountain people who have lived the same way of life until the 19-20th century as they did since the Roman times.
We are simply way too different from Sorbs and nothing but the ethnonym connect us.
>>
>NOOO POLAND IS NOT ALLOWED TO BECOME DEVELOPED THEY STOLE EU FUNDS!!!!
isn't that what the EU is for? they aren't implying that the EU is designed to keep certain countries poor, are they?
>>
>>224025815
>Historically, they've been part of Germany even during it's most radical anti-Slavic stage (WWII)
funnily enough, today the nationalist German party's leader is an ethnic Sorb from Bela Woda. Yet he probably doesn't even know what this name means in his ancestors' language.

>>224025815
>We are simply way too different from Sorbs and nothing but the ethnonym connect us.

there are obviously linguistic ties as well

their music is also similar to original Serbian music (that without Turkish influence)

>>224025868
It's for enhancing German and Swamp German wealth at the expense of everyone else
>>
>>224025883
Our mentality is so completely different though. Southern Slavs took the local mindset. Despite the meme about how paternally Slavs are not present here. In reality paternal Slavic lineages i2a1bdin and R1a score 55-70% in the Balkans.
Particularly people from the mountains are divisive and extreme. Very family oriented.
Some linguistic connections and ethnonym are not enough to connect me with Sorbs.
They'd probably tip me off to the German police if I told them how I see the world.
>>
>>224021953
Trvthnvke most polacks cannot stomach. Patriotic polacks will delude themselves this is the best place in the world, oikophobic polacks will delude themselves this is the worst place in the world, but the truth is that we're just painfully mid and indistinct. Meh: the country.
>>
>>224022215
>That's probably the entire immigrant population of those buildings behind them
>uhhh there are browns but there isn't that many of them yet, so it's okay!
Please stop. Even 1 is 1 too many.
>>
>>224026051
>They'd probably tip me off to the German police if I told them how I see the world.
I don't think so, as far as I know they're rather right-wing as well. Afaik Germans don't really see them as different from the regular Ossi stereotype, all they are known for is that they paint eggs for Easter but other than than they're just Ossis and mostly follow Ossi political patterns. So if you're a chud, you'd probably feel at home there.
>>
>>224024554
what did you mean by this?
>>
>>224026051
first time in history a Serb admitted he feels closer to Albanians than to Sorbs
>>
>>224026175
Compared to Sorbs? Sure. I am not afraid to "admit" anything at all.
However Serbs and Albanians are different in one regard.
Serbs are naturally divisive people. Albanians might squabble but they're only loyal to one another in a foreign country, under foreign pressure, etc. We don't care about that. We always divide. Each individual believes he is the hottest shit in the world and his opinion should be followed and agreed to the letter or all be damned. There is no reconciliation here, meeting in the middle.
Serbs are, interestingly enough and by my observations, not at all one-dimensional people compared to western Europe. We are all very colourful.
You can see this in the threads. When 10 Serbian flags post, each flag wants to kill the other 9.

This goes on in real life too. There is a constant battle between us to prove that our point of view is right. We are simultaneously very stubborn and yet very divisive, so each man is almost a doctrine upon himself. Many people, especially in the west, are naturally conformist and one-dimensional thinkers (they delude themselves that they aren't). They are afraid to voice disagreements and stand out.
I actually feel alive in real life the most when I get into a debate on something. The bigger difference opinion, the better.
So in some ways we are close to Albanians, in some we aren't.
Serbian nobility was present in Albania and intermarried with Albanians. We linguistically and somewhat genetically foreign to each other but we share history and some mentality.
>>
And in general this makes Serbs think our behaviour is very Slavic but we simply stand out way too much (along with Croats too) compared to Russians, Poles, Czechs and Slovenes.
We seem to have gotten this attitude from the locals, as they were described as divisive retards by the Romans.
>>
>>224026409
>We always divide.
and what about samo sloga srbina spasava?

i think you just exaggerate and im sure if you asked Albanians about it, they'd say that they are the ones who are constantly divided over everything (and this is why they have such a clear distinction Gheg-Tosk which is the main reason why Albania doesn't unite with Kosovo and doesn't even wishes to do that) and as you can see, it's not even uncommon that Albania supports Serbia in this or that even if Kosovars are angry with that. And at the same time they probably believe that in contrary to Albanians, Serbs are truly united because Serbs in Bosnia didn't magically became Bosnians and didn't lose their Serbian identity, unlike Kosovars, who with every year feel less and less "Albanian" and more and more "Kosovar".

So it's just grass is greener thinking.
>>
>>224026409
you'd be surprised but when i had my Sorb obsession phase and watched every single video about Sorbs on yt, there was a guy nicknamed 'slavny serbski vojak' with some clear Sorb nationalist agenda so it was funny to me because he could be as well named 'slavni srpski vojnik' and he would pass for a 100% nationalist Serb

Meh, maybe, don't care, the ones that post on 4chan are idiots on another level, our idiots don't speak English and don't know what 4chan is and are mostly older guys, and if this is what young Albanian stock has to offer then lmao.
In theory considering what I wrote, I should admire them more than Serbs. I think it might be simply that they're too low IQ. I am an idealist. Preservation of an national-ethnos is only one of the lists of things I care about.
