In America, people are proud of their work and do quality job while working hard.

Why cant we in Europe do the same?

Working-class Americans think working 80 hours a week is character building and the unions that want to let them spend more time with their family are evil

considering the fact that most of them are drunk before they even started working, they're usually doing a fine job. it would be better if they weren't drunk all the time but you can't have everything you want

Not a civil engineer or a construction worker but whenever I watch these guys video it seems very suspicious that they have to "cheat" and use these cheap techniques to get the planks together at the end of their fittings. Something was badly done beforehand and this shit leads to a lot of stored energy in the house, which is terrible for general stability.

I hate how the internet gives a lot of keyboard warriors the opportunity to be annoying. Just a few decades ago if you wanted to do shit like this you had to face repercussions.

Wood planks are often crooked or they develop a bend during drying.
>>
>>224275048
Only because of the dogshit quality of timber we have now. 100 years ago it was seasoned in a covered stack for a couple of years until it was about 20-25% moisture content and nowadays it's pretty much fucking milled green to rush the (((product))) out. Go to a builder's merchant, timber merchant or even a humble DIY store and look down the edge of some timber, it's all bent shit.

Nice. Oak hasn't been typical here for a long time, probably not for 200 years. My house is a railway company's work form the 1890s, stone outer course and brick inner, the joists and floorboards and all the roof and lintels and stuff are Spruce and still just as good as new. I would never buy a new build, I've seen too many that are built like shit.

Great way to get a life long injury
>>
>>224280348
Most lower class people secretly dream of getting a lifelong injury because it means being taken care of by family members/government commisioned nurses and receiving benefits until you die instead of working. All those suicidal tradies doesn't insane shit do it with a secret hope that they get fucked up. The smart ones try to make it seem like they did everything right and it still happened.
>>
>>224280385
Can't blame them. Who actually wants to slave in brown shit for 40 to 50 years? Besides that getting an injury at work opens the "Look how hard I work" pitty/bragging card, which is good for the ego kek.

>OSHA 1926.501 (Fall Protection): Sitting bare-legged on an un-guarded roof truss with zero fall arrest system or safety netting.
>OSHA 1926.96 (Foot Protection): Operating a pneumatic nailer while entirely barefoot on splintered dimensional lumber.
>OSHA 1926.102 (Eye & Face Protection): Using gas-powered/pneumatic fast-fastener tools while wearing gas-station sunglasses instead of ANSI Z87.1-rated safety glasses.
>OSHA 1926.100 (Head Protection): Substituting an approved hard hat with a flipped-back soft cap on an active framing site.
>OSHA 1926.302 (Power Tool Safety): Holding a framing board with a hand-held claw hammer directly in the line of fire of a high-pressure nail gun.
>>
>>224280100
>Ergonomics & Manual Material Handling (General Duty Clause, Section 5(a)(1)): The human spine is designed as a structural column, not a lever for a makeshift lumber rack. Compression forces on the lumbar vertebrae in this position far exceed NIOSH lifting equation thresholds, virtually guaranteeing an acute disc herniation.
>Footwear Standards (OSHA 1926.96 / 1910.136): Sandals do not constitute foot protection. Traversing loose gravel under a crushing load in thin flip-flops guarantees zero lateral stability and exposes unprotected feet to severe crush injuries.
>Lack of Required PPE (OSHA 1926.28 / 1926.100): Carrying unsecured overhead framing timber shirtless and without a hard hat or eye protection leaves the worker entirely exposed to impact hazards, splinters, and environmental friction.
>Unsafe Material Handling (OSHA 1926.250): Attempting to manually transport a stack of lumber that completely exceeds an operator's sightlines and mechanical stability instead of using appropriate rigging, a forklift, or a two-person carry.

Being European means being a lazy spiritually derivative subhuman. Europeanness is a middle class concept - the class most vulnerable to indoctrination and percieved social threats
