Question for Scotsmen. How do your nuts not freeze off in the winter in that kilt?? Like, fr fr.
>>224315964they only wear it for weddings and cute little photos, otherwise they wear track suits and special little devices on their wrist that allows them to reverse time by two seconds.
>>224315964I've heard this was just a highlander thing but lowlanders have no culture and have adopted it as part of a national symbol just to feel like they aren't simply englishmen, which they are
>>224316101So you're saying they're Englishmen in a dress?
>>224316342The lowlanders are, yeah.
It's just genuinely not cold there. Brits like to whine all the time about how cold it is but it basically never snows in the places that people live. Edinburgh and Glasgow get like 1 cm a year and it melts in 2 hours. The weather is just permanently September-November if you are from a place that has seasons.
>>224316449>The weather is just permanently September-NovemberSounds very cozy.
>>224315964>nutsThe English have a strong grip on their balls. It's kept warm that way.
>>224316481>The EnglishYeah, but we're talking about the Scottish though...
>>224316101Not fully correct but also pointing in the right direction. The Kilt as we see it today, i.e a skirt, is a Victorian invention from the 1800s aye. It got popularized when King William IV (or something I forgot which one desu) went over to Scotland and the Edinburgh elites came up with all this glorified tourist stuff for him to hype up the royal trip. The "original" kilts from before the 1700s were more like these big cloaks/blankets and stuff like a "Clan Tartan" wasn't actually official or regulated, different regions just had different patterns for the same reason some people like to dress in black and others like to dress in white. It's why I always scoff at overly sensitive folk back in Scotland who get riled up by Yanks or whatnot wearing the kilt "incorrectly"- it's literally just a fucking skirt man, there is no rule book for this shit.
>>224316449This sounds horrible
