China is literally a plus sized Singapore. It is absurd how little to do in their mega-cities even though they like to boast about their millennia-spanning history. Every cities look the same, and the only thing to do there is to spend money in some generic fancy shopping mall. On the off-chance you wanted to go see history, you'll be directed to the old city, only for you to discover its basically a theme park constructed in 2018. But somehow even Singapore feels more authentic and relaxing than any Chinese cities. I feel there's alot similarities between China and the US, that China look at their culture the same way we look at native American culture, an unrelated group of people who can use it to make money.
>>224387638mao erased much of the authentic old stuff so they have to build fake shit now
>>224387638I think federalism would give each region more of its own distinct character, but it’s deeply frowned upon because it tends to be associated with separatism.

You're an idiot. Tell us what there is to do in your trashy American cities. Tell us what multitude of activities you can do it Thailand over China even?> They all look the same It's not our fault you don't know how to choose a holiday destination
>>224390973American cities are more historical than chinese cities.

>>224391011Alright, let's check this out. Name the most interesting historical city that someone would travel to the other side of the world for

>>224391118you can't list one. where even an avg american small town has more historical buildings than even the most culturally significant chinese cities.
>>224391154I never claimed China the place to go for history, it's not my thing. Even though it really is, but I'm not into childish arguments so let's just say it isn't to keep you happy. Also you can't answer a question with a question. If you wanted to know that why didn't you just ask me first. I'd be happy to tell you. You're weird
>>224387638I have never been in ChinaI'd like to visit Japan and see the temples and forests and coasts
Beijing was good for history, Shanghai was kinda boring. Didnt see more because there was only 10 day visa free when I went. Would go back
>>224391231Bro China isn't the place to go for its history then what is it for? LEDs and AIs?
>>224392309Kek right, I don't know what that anon was in about, they sounded absolutely demented. I don't know it compares but know history related activities must be decent considering their literal history on this earth. I'm not a history buff though and didn't want to get into some downs syndrome contest. I know what it does best most other places in though
