Do people read audiobooks in your country?

My dad do that. I would prefer to read than listening, but it's not a bad way when you're driving for example.

No
>>
why are you browsing a teenager forum
>>
I can't listen to fucking audiobooks. I'm bound to do something else at the same time or fall asleep, either way I'm not paying attention. Reading is the only way to read.
>>
I listened to American Psycho read by Patrick Bateman (Christian Bale AI) and it was quite good. Not the book.

My autism fires on all cylinders when I hear people call listening reading. Words have meaning.
>>

No because earphones fuck up my ears if I wear it for more than 2 hours

I prefer audiobooks so I don't have to put my head down for hours. I also hate reading it makes me bored.
>>

>read audiobooks
No because that's not reading. You're listening to someone read it for you. Like a toddler.

if you focused on it fully and did nothing else i think it would be more full than reading (where you can skim).
but i'm guessing the point of audiobooks for many people is basically background noise. it seems many people hav youtube videos and music on while barely paying attention to it.
