thermodynamics' 2nd law basically says everything is going to get much worse
>>
Good things dont last
>>
>>224452526
for starters, the earth isn't a closed system so that law doesn't even apply to it anyway
>>
>>224452526
nothing ever happens so thermoDYNAMICS do not apply
>>
>>224452526
not it doesnt it just says entropy is more likely to increase
>>
>>224452526
Based I hope it starts getting worse in Turkey first
>>
>>224458607
increasing entropy is explicitly bad for several reasons.
>>
>>224458607
things degrade and break into their simplest components, therefore entropy increase
>>
>>224458953
its not it just means more multiplicity of macrostates
>>224458974
thats not what entropy means
>>
>>224459005
>macrostates
you mean microstates
>>
>>224458607
It's not "more likely" to increase, it is guaranteed to increase for the entire universe whatever happens.
>>
>>224452526
2nd law means time is irreversible

t. pro
>>
>>224460635
not guaranteed, more likely
statistical mechanics assume microscopic dynamics are time-reversal-invariant. you can flip the signs in an equation and have the same collision in reverse described by the same laws. everything is reversible its just unlikely to be reversed
>>
Western be like: 2nd law of thermosdynamos mean ice melt when warm lol, now you must mention this western name on your application and calculating
