Are you happy with how you’ve spent your early 20s iyc?

I've spent every year since I moved out from my parents at age 18 the same way.
>neeting
>gaming
>reading (fantasy and horror, book snobs don't need to ask)
>going for night walks
>mushroom hunting in the autumn
>taking the train to visit my parents every six months
I'm 35 now and yes, I have no regrets spending the last decade+ like that. It's been very chill.
>>
>>224470628
No but that's the past. At least I did have some fun
>>
>>224470736
No outings and time spent w frens? No indulging in sexual degeneracy under the guise of forgivable curiosity?
>>
>>224470775
Is it the fun bits that you actually regret?
>>
I've struggled and I've tried my best. Not always was I brave or smart or patient but whatever. I love life and everything is gonna turn out fine
>>
>>224470799
No. I have no friends and never felt any need to get laid. I jerk off when I need to and that's it.

Well what was the fun stuff?

Pretty much. I did move to Uppsala for a year when I was 19 just to see what city life is like and I didn't like it. Moved back to my forests pretty quickly.
>>
>>224471260
Yeah, now I understand. It’s a lot different for city slickers. You miss out on a lot but unlike innawoods anons, you keep getting reminded of what you’re actively missing.
>>
>>224471260
I always wanted to grow up in the countryside. I was always much happier innawoods and out in the mountains alone and in silence

Cope if under fiddy
>>

Cool, any books you'd recommend?
>>

Twilight but genderswapped.

I read actual horror not romance disguised as horror. I did once read a few vampire books by Anne Rice. They were OK since I also like history and it seemed like she probably did a fair bit of historical research before writing the books.

I will also add that Rice seemed like a bit of a fujo in how she wrote the relationships between the male vampires.
>>

Now I know why mom liked her books very much. Yikes
>>
>>224472653
Sure.
For fantasy books:
The Kingkiller Chronicle series.
The Stormlight Archive series.
The Wheel Of Time series.
Mistborn series.
The Farseer Trilogy.
The Gentleman Bastard series.
The First Law series.
The Riftwar Saga & related books.
Night Angel trilogy.
The Broken Empire series.
Dragonlance (gigantic amount of books).
The Sword of Shannara Trilogy.
Warbreaker.
The Black Magician trilogy.
Broken Empire collection.
The Sword Of Truth series.

And some horror:
Ghost Story - Peter Straub.
House of Leaves - Mark Z. Danielewski.
Let the Right One In - John Ajvide Lindqvist.
Watchers - Dean Koontz.
The Terror - Dan Simmons.
The Strain series - Guillermo del Toro, Chuck Hogan.
Metro Series - Dmitry Glukhovsky (the books the Metro 2033 games are based on).

There's some of my favorites.

Yeah. My entire life is now focused on buying a little plot of land and build me a house in the mountains
>>
>>224470628
Considering I used it to go to college to pursue the degree I have now then yes, I am happy.
>>
>>224470628
no absolutely not i hate myself
>>
>>224472972
Does your mom like other fujo content?
>>
>>224470628
