>>224492887In know my direct descendants going back to my great great grandparents on fathers side and going back to the late 1700's on my mother's side. I do think about my great grandfather on my mother's side sometimes who was both a ww1 and ww2 vet, in ww1 he was a lieutenant who was part of the Meuse Argonne Offensive and in WW2 was apparently a Brigadier general involved in D-Day and the liberation of France. Then his brother flew a B-17 over Germany. I do keep that story in mind when I complain about bullshit in my life , my ancestors went through far more than I did after all just makes me seem like a pussy in comparison.

I don't really think about very distant ancestors, but I do think about my great great grandparents from time to time
