japs just found out about this and are malding
>>224502570Didn't they kick russia's ass?
>>224502570It does look cool, but rather pathetic to erect it so long after the war. Where is it located?
>>224502588they believe russia dropped them nukes and took kuril islands so no, they didn't
>>224502570A few weeks after the end of the Second World War (28 August–5 September), the Russians came to the Kuril Islands and stole them. What a brave lot they are.
They were defeated by Japan in the First World War.They didn’t fight Japan at all in the Second World War.And yet, just a few weeks after the Second World War had ended—once Japan was completely unable to use its weapons—they came to steal the Kuril Islands. The Russians really are a noble and proud people. They’re certainly worthy of a statue.
>>224503064AHAHAHAHAAHAA
>>224502588yes, we defeated their Baltic fleet and won Russo-Japanese war (1904-1905)
>>224502644>Where is it located?khabarovsk, that's where the military headquarters was located when they kicked japanese asses from china and mongolia and then we nuked japan
>>224503064Once they lash out and China attacks them you can retakeshi it.
>>224503270your ass has been nuked by the manlet dictator
>>224502570That was really funny to me.
>>224503064>They were defeated by Japan in the First World War.I think you confused First World War with the Russo-Japanese war of 1905, Nihonbro. In WW1 Japan and Russia were technically allies.
Now with Google street view you can compare what the Russian towns in Sakhalin look like vs whatever Japanese town in Hokkaido. That's roughly 60 km between them yet it's like difference between Congo and Switzerland. But Russians will just say that "they surely have a different climate there" and case closed.
>>224503703They don't teach them about it in Japan. They just tell to them, that Russia is their eternal enemy. When Mongols tried to invade, it was Russia too btw.
>>224504136Drop the VPN for once
>>224503064>They didn’t fight Japan at all in the Second World War.By the way https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soviet_invasion_of_Manchuria
>>224504248Zhukov handled their asses to them https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battles_of_Khalkhin_Gol
>>224502570i’m neutral on this issue, but it’s funny how netouyos who were putin fanboys while abe was still alive have now completely turned into anti-authoritarian liberashka hohol warriorsi know they aren’t a monolith, but at least over 90% of them expressed favor toward monke, and even the kind of netouyos who claimed to be wary of russia trusted monke
>>224502570>russia had to build a monument to celebrate a war they won a 100 years to ago to cope with not being able to win a war now.
>>224502570That statue is actually fucking huge, its 15 meters tall
>>224503159>yes, wei dont think you are over 120 years old desu
