I always buy unopened ones from used sites. There is always someone who got gifted one and did not need it. Its usually cheaper than buying in store by 10-15%. I brought my last 4 iPhones like this. Sometimes you buy from the middle men, someone wants to sell one quickly and there comes the guy who makes a living from buying it up fast and selling it for a higher price but still lower than retail. Also brought two Airpods Pros the exact same way
