Lately, Black people just show up as a matter of course in works set in medieval Europe, but it makes it look as if Black people have no culture of their own.

I remember Snape's hair described as greasy and unkempt, apparently to DEI execs that means dreadlocks lmao
and they say woke is over, this shit never ended and is worse than ever
>>
the worst kind of raceswap isn't even this fantasyshit
it's when bongs put a random black guy in a show set before 1950 and offer no explanation for the niggerdom, it just exists

Nope. They blame white people for everything but even before Europeans went into Africa it was the same shithole.
>>
There are Asian NPCs in the new "Fable" game, too, but I’m not really a fan of it.
At the very least, I wish they’d wear traditional Asian clothing instead of just blending in with the locals.

Casting a black guy as a chud incel cucked by a white guy, weve come full circle
>>
It wouldn't be very interesting to just feature ordinary Black or Asian characters in a Western-style fantasy work, would it?
They ought to wear traditional costumes reflecting their immigrant backgrounds.

Well, in Africa, it was easy to survive on hunting alone, so they didn't adopt agriculture.

jk rowling approved and demanded he be black

Black people existed in the UK prior to 1950.

Why are you freaks so obsessive and fixated on trying to have something to scream about?

Demoman from TF2

Did Black people have a civilization?
If you dug deeper, you'd likely find something there,so why not make a movie out of it?

>Afro Caribbean
Yes
>sub saharan african
Yes
>African Americans
Yes-ish

African Americans really only go back to their roots in slavery who adopted white cultural practices from slavery and continues to do so after slavery then made their own little spins on them which is why their culture is just pop culture and then seething about white people when things dont get well. They dont really have a similar unique ethnogenesis that defines afro Caribbean and sub saharan African cultures.

I wonder if making "The Little Mermaid" Black was a mistake.
I’d rather see a Disney musical movie with a reggae theme.

Shut up please, you are just baiting now.
>>
I think that in another hundred years, hip-hop and the whole gangsta scene will end up looking something like Caribbean pirates.
After all, famous Black culture is still a relatively new phenomenon.
>>
Well, it was only Europeans, East Asians, Arabs, or Indians who built advanced civilizations.
>>
I’d like to see a Hollywood movie set in Africa that features Black characters something like a story about inter-tribal conflict.
>>

What differs Afro Caribbeans from Afro Americans? Both descend from slaves and afro American culture is pretty distinct imo

Well, there were some places in Africa where black people had "civilization" (no, not Egypt, Egyptian were not blacks, they are semito-hamites)
First comes to my mind Ethiopia, which indeed was an ancient kingdom, and their lineage of kings was said to be traced back to king Solomon, because he married the queen of Sheba (he had many wives though). Ethiopia was also one of the first countries to convert to Christianity. They have ancient churches and many chronicles and legends about their dynasty. But of course there was controversial shit going on with local minorities so promoting Ethiopian history might not end well.
There were also other more advanced kingdoms in Nubia and Benin.
It would indeed be a good ideea if the history of these kingdoms would be explored in movies but all the civil war shit and scandals and subrace conflicts in Africa make this unlikely
