>>224509192They're just very shortsighted and have very little patience for understanding how to do things for themselves. I work in healthcare and many of my patients are either Quebecois or can claim all of their descent from there. They don't tend to mix out because of the religious differences. Many, many times there are things they need to know in order to better take care of their own health, and almost every time zi deal with one of them it's the same short, curt, dismissive response until you give up and give them whatever short-term care they want in that moment. They don't believe that we might know something that they don't that could help them. There are a lot of people of every ethnicity that are like this in my line of work, but the French seem uniquely incapable of looking past their own very oddly shaped noses.
