Brother.. Big E was literally Jesus. And pretty much all the major religious figures around the world. He was born from the collective reincarnation of all the shamans of Neolithic humanity in ancient central Anatolia (modern Turkey) in the 8th Millennium B.C.
Even as a boy his power was so great that its energies altered his genome and physiology and rendered him immortal.

For thirty-eight thousand years, he wandered over the Earth and throughout human history. He traveled among the different peoples of Mankind. While he had first been only an observer of Mankind's triumphs and follies, he soon began to help where he could, using his ancient wisdom to spread efficient government, crop management, animal husbandry, technology and peace.

Eventually finding that religion was what moved Humanity the mos, he adopted various roles throughout history, appearing as religious figures, Messiahs, priests and even as a god where needed. Few religions on the planet were untouched by him, most where born from his teachings, the Great religions born from his great mind.
Humanity flowed around him without knowledge of this walking force among them until the 29th Millennium during the Age Of Strife and the rise of the Chaos Gods.


So what will I do?
I will bow and ask for his guidance. But I will not pray, for the Emperor does not see himself as a God and do not want to be worshiped.
