I keep seeing these on Amazon and am wondering what they are. They appear to be an audio device that plays music from various Indian religions.

yes. in indian religions certain cults / deities require jeets to be constantly signing their song or have a million curses upon themselves. kind of like the evil eye but for audio

this is why thirdies are always singing and why, they they don't want to sing, they blast their terrible music as loud as possible. This is a backup system in case they must take a whatsapp call and the caller does not have background music loud enough to come through the speakerphone.
