Fun fact is that while Greeks themselves suffered under the Ottoman yoke, at the same time the sultan employed Greeks to exert his powers in other parts of empire so in these areas Greeks are seen as worse occupiers than actual Turks. It's especially true for Romania

It's been like this everywhere, this is why Serbs hated Slavic muslims while you guys simp for them and wonder why is that because "we speak the same language".
>>
The only equivalent I can think of is Spain.

Bosnjaks are super cool people tho
and you know, the situation in Romania was different because Greeks were as foreign to them as the Turks were, while Bosnjaks were very similar to Serbs/Croats.

>greeks were invented in 1821 when the brits, french and russians invaded the once albanian populated mora region of the ottoman empire and forced hellenized the population.
>later yanya (“ioannina”), selanik (“thessaloniki”), girit (“crete”) and kıbrıs (“cyprus”) followed were the population was either forced hellenized, massacred or expelled to modern turkey.
>there was no greek ethnicity before the fall of the ottoman empire, even today there is no word for greek in turkish language.
>greeks are hellenized albanians, pomaks and anatolians, this was also the mainstream view in the western world (fallmerayer-theory) before pan-europeanism designed by kalergi took over after ww2.
>istanbul was never called constantinople during the ottoman empire, it was called islambol.
>athens had less than 4.000 inhabitants in 1833.
>hagia sophia was created in the 19th century by the italian, masonic fossati brothers who later claimed it was “restored” and is full of masonic kabbalistic imagery. sophia is actually shekhinah who gets raped by serpent demons in order to destroy the earth.
>greek mythology is rebranded kabbalah, just like roman, egyptian and babylonian mythology. chronos eating its children is actually saturn eating children in the black cube time prison.
>sirtaki was invented by the hollywood movie alexis zorbas.
>the term greek yogurt was coined by the danone company. more specifically by izak karasu, a selanik jew who renamed himself to isaac carasso to pretend, like all sephardi jews, to be descendant of those from the spanish inquisition.

When I've been there I really felt how similiarly they speak to Serbs from Vojvodina.
Though over time I gradually got annoyed at their personalities and victimising (if you think Serbs are bad and obsessed with the recent history, I hope you never find out just how obsessed they are to the point of very casually talking about that stuff. Serbs keep that shit to the internet more or less).
I always kind of liked people from Bosnia, Serbs and in general.

you can't blame them, they were personally affected by the recent wars, while most Serbs from Serbia have only seen the war on TV. If you live in a building where bullet holes are still visible, you cannot just forget and get over it.

And it's Serbs who keep provoking them which we could see in the last few days. Bosnians themselves don't stir up any trouble but you cannot expect them to ignore obvious provocations either.

Serbs and Greeks have similar schizo theories about Albanians
Greeks also have similar stuff about Turks or any other non-Greeks.
Turks about Armenians, Greeks, Kurds.
Bulgarians and Serbs about us and so on

Yes Greeks were mostly on the islands and the coastal area and the inland was Albanians, Aromanians and Turks and they hellenized these. They were planning to hellenize all the Balkan, including South Slavs and Romanians. But taht doesn't mean Greeks themselves didn't exist

If we are all the same people they can call themselves Serbs tomorrow. Wait, they won't. Because we aren't the same, got it. Your point is moot.
I can actually give a proper series of replies to everything, from morals to history, but I actually won't. I don't concern myself with retards who don't know basis of ethnos, assuring it's perpetual continuation and a man's role in society.
Bombs are not enough. To turn us into docile cattle you need tanks in Belgrade. But regarding myself even that is not enough as I find your docility and hidden malicious intents so repugnant that I would rather chose death than have anything to do with your mentality.
I do not hide behind some words like "democracy", "human rights" and whatever stupid terms you hide behind while being the most hypocritical retards possible.
I know Serbs are hypocritical. It is a man's job to be hypocritical and take hardline stances. I simply stick with my own people and love them. I don't care about the rest.

Serbia has scientists. Serbs eat nice food. Serbs listen to bad and good music. We live in houses or apartments. We love women and sports. Though too many criminals (mostly abroad, not much petty crime here) and we have some littering issues, plus corrupt government, that's pretty bad. But for example, Croats are also prideful people and have less of these issues.
Wait, I know what we lack. Democracy and thinking Lindsey Clancy didn't do it xD.

Also, can you give me a nice graph where you can explain to me how would despising our country and forgetting it's history raise our GDP? Do we have economic research showing this?

Ottoman elite was the Turkish speaker muslim population of balkans and western anatolia. After the french revolution the idea of nationalism became stronger and these people embraced the Turkish identity more than they used to. Before that Turk mostly meant Turkmen nomads in anatolia

>Ottoman elite was the Turkish speaker muslim population of balkans and western anatolia.
>Ottoman Turkish (Osmanlıca) was the official language of the court, administration, bureaucracy, and high literature. It was a form of Turkish based on Anatolian Turkish grammar but heavily loaded with Arabic and Persian vocabulary, grammar, and stylistic elements—sometimes estimated at 70–88% non-Turkish words in elite registers. This made it largely incomprehensible to ordinary people and served as a marker of elite status and education.

We can't read old cyrillic stuff either, and most people didn't read back then too. Most of our relevant literature is in latin script, unless you count things from Cantemir or Ienăchiță Văcărescu which are converted to modern script anyway..

What do you mean? Pretty much all of our traditions for example come from Ottoman period

Because western style novels became a thing here in the 19th century when we were going through westernization. Before that you only had stories mostly spread orally. They are still well known today. Nobody wrote novels because they were simply not a thing here. I just looked it up and google says the first Romanian novel was written in 1855

Then it's very easy. Sabuncuoğlu Şerafeddin wrote a very important medicine book. It's outdated and not the kind of book you would read today though. It's 600 year old after all. Just one that came to my mind
My favorite though is the travel diary of Evliya Çelebi from 17th century ''seyahatname'' He visited evey region of the Ottoman Empire and some parts of Europe and write down his experiences. I wanted to say that it's hilarious that Turks think they can be considered white if Balkaners are laughed at, but considering just how amazingly well Turks integrate in Germany and that you were allies in WW1, it's quite safe to say that Turks are actually more EVROPEAN than any Balkaner, at least from their perspective.

while it is true that moslems weren't allowed to settle or build mosques here, ottomans practically broke the agreements between us and them by naming greek christian rulers who brought nothing but oriental barbarism, povery, pests and fiscal burden while strengthening the sultan's influence here. while the austrian turkjeet is a low iq diasporoid larper he is somewhat right in the sense that ottoman-era greeks were not so different from western anatolian turks in mannerisms, habits and culture, both being seen as pesty orientaloids here and despised up till the 20th century

A history of the evolution of Serbians, from ancient to modern day:

Miroslav the Slav
>the first slav who decided to move from his mud hut to the ruins of a Roman city, thereby being the cultural genesis of the Serbian people

Sofija Sofiovich
>born into a peseant family during the height of Ottoman power, she was chosen by a passing band of soldiers after they killed her father and raped her mother, she was then gifted to the sultan and became the head Turkish cock polisher, becoming the most powerful Serbian woman ever

Dragomir Dragonovich
>ardent Serbian/yugoslav nationalist, once quoted as saying "Bosnia is the land of our people, regardless of religion. I am as Bosnian as I am Serbian, I love these people, they are my own", responsible for the rape and murder of 10,000 bosniaks and Croats in the 90s. Still celebrated as a national hero today; posters with his face are quite popular among Serbs during inter Balkan football matches

The end. That's all you people are known for.

Fun fact, the slavs (then the Turks later) raped Greece so hard that a bunch of the original Greek names of towns and roads were lost to time/the people were either genocided or assimilated and they were expelled or murdered during the population exchanges in the 20th century. So the butthurt Greeks did a mass renaming campaign in which they invited a bunch of Greek """scholars""" to make up a bunch of fake names. They did this because they wanted to show, and I quote: "The result of these policies was a successful restoration of a distant past through nationalism to show that modern Greece was "really the same country as classical Greece". Nowadays it's literally a crime to refer to Greek city and village names with their Turkish or Slavic counterparts, you can go to jail for doing it.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geographical_name_changes_in_Greece?wprov=sfla1

Right now, on /int/, some Greek dog who lives in Zeusopolis or Heraclesopol, is crying about Shiptars or Serb/Turkroaches or some shit, not knowing that his own shithole village was renamed because they don't remember the original greek name. Funny how shit works, innit.

Well the Spanish did to the Muslim Moros of the Philippines what the Turks did to Christian Greeks of Greece, except that instead of using Muslim Slav Balkanoids like Albanians to colonize Greece as per Ottoman Turkey the Spanish employed Christian Latin Americans like Peruvians and Mexicans to BTFO the Muslim Moros of the Philippines, with the Spanish successfully using Mexicans, Peruvians, and allied Filipino who were still practicing Hinduism and hated the newly arrived Muslims, in converted Manila and Zamboanga from Islam to Christianity, but they had less success in converting the interior Sultanates though. Even though they did eventually militarily subjugate them.

Eastern Croatia and Northern Serbia were repopulated by people from the north parts of the empire (Germans, Czechs, Slovaks, Rusyns) after the area was reconquered from the Ottomans. But after events like world wars where the Germans and non-Slavs were being expelled and killed, and the 90s war in Croatia which especially impacted Eastern Croatia, those places in the 21. century had become less developed than the rural North Croatia

Actually you Portuguese taught us to fight the Muslims before the Spanish ever did.

As early as the beginning of the 1500s; Portuguese Goa recorded the presence of "Lucam" or "Luções" Hindu and Muslim Filipinos from the island of Luzon (Luçon) from the Hindu Kingdom of Tondo or Muslim Manila (Brunei Sultanate's colony) who worked as allies or mercenaries of Portugal to destroy the power of the Gujarat and Malacca Sultanates.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Luzones

Do you know that our first Prime Minister in the Philippine War of Independence against Spain was a Portuguese?

His name was Trinidad Pardo de Tavdra, and his family comes from Tavera Portugal.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trinidad_Pardo_de_Tavera

Other Iberians who rebelled against Spain were important officers too.

Our first Emperor Andres Novales was Mexican and our first admiral was a Cuban Vincente Catalan.
>>
The Crusader character of Filipinos predate Christian colonization. We were already Pseudo-Christian allies to Portugal (At least Luzones were IDK about Visayans and Maguindanaoans) who mixed Christianity with indigenous Hindu-Animism or Islamic-Animism, before Spain came from Latin America.
