Mid-week international video games discussion thread. What games are you playing in your country? I haven't been playing much mostly working on blender and substance suite with GPT 6 astra.
>>224791894I was playing onimusha way of the sword. it's ok, doesn't really feel like onimusha tbdesu
I'm playing GTA 5 for the first time
>>224791894I played Dawnwalker for some time but the game turned out to be quite midThinking about checking out Endless Legend 2 as it is coming out of Early Access today
>7300 FREAKING HOURSWHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU?????? HOLYYYY FUCK
ALSO>3000 HOURS IN A SOFTWARE>1000 HOURS IN A GAME FROM 20 YEARS AGOHOW OLD ARE YOU? DON'T YOU PLAY ANY OTHER GAME
I'm making my 4bit discoelysiumslop and playing Quake
>>224792420rookie numbers, I used to have over 10k hours in WoW on my main character alone
>>224792348>Dawnwalker>quite midI thought it was really good
>>224791967I've never played the original series either >>224792258Enjoy the main story isn't as good as the others>>224792348Waiting for Dawnwalker to go on sale. I'm an avid supporter of the Polish games industry. You should play pic related if you haven't it's another great polish rpg
Tibia, just got level 300 with my Royal Paladin, thinking about pushing towards 350 this month. Also downloaded GTA V again, i forgot how comfy it is to just drive around
>>224792578I had great initial impression after the prologue but then the world exploration and side quests turned out to be quite repetitiveI will probably finish it at some point but I don't feel like playing it now
Been playing GTA1. Pretty fun, if simple.
>>224792587The Thaumaturge is a wasted opportunity, Warsaw there looks like a generic French town, it doesn't look like pre-war Warsaw. The plot was also pretty meh until halfway through, only then it started to become interesting. Some characters are incredibly stupid. The faux-Pokemon battles are undercooked. 1905 revolution is presented badly.
>>224791894Nobody ever talks about Dota online but everyone has like 5k hours in it.
>>224791894been playing some p5r. Great game. Love it. It was one of those games I had kept on the backlog for a long time and only really started playing a few weeks ago.
Been playing Star Wars: Zero Company, it's pretty good. Also started to play ranked in LoL, first time I've taken it seriously instead of just trying to get the Victorious skin. Close to reaching Emerald atm.
>>224791894Finished replaying GTA SA and trying to 100% it now. Fucked up with collecting the oysters and had 49/50 in the end so I have to go to each location and look for which one I've missed.
>>224792781>190 screenshots in SAbut why
>>224792956I just like taking pictures of moments I'd like to remember or pictures of cool things.
>>224791894tamdal unkil? How's it going?
I've revisited the Long Dark, I didn't like it before despite dumping 50 hours into it, you get to a point where you have enough food and it just feels pointless, but I'm trying again on a harder difficulty, and although the start was hard it's easy now. I'm going to try and explore the map before moving on to another game. I'm also still playing MSFS 2024.
>>224793007post your favourite SA screenshot
>>224793089Now that you mention it, I don't have a whole lot of shareable screenshots. Before I replayed the game I only had 8 old screenshots. The remaining ones are screenshots relating to the story. I had also made some screenshots for /r9k/ posts.
>>224793341>previously Chuck's
>>224793341Was GTA SA banned or censored in Deutschland?
>>224793425Not banned but censored.I found this on it: "Before I do the main one, I will let you know that in Germany, San Andreas was originally banned due to violence and a censored version was released. However, the ban was lifted in 2012 just like the uncensored version of Vice City. And only two edits were made in German: removing the ability to kick people when they are laying on the ground and removing the ability to blast people's heads off." You also don't get any money drops for killing civilians in the Steam version (might also just be Germany). You can downgrade it to the 1.0 version to have it all enable however I think but I just couldn't be bothered to do that.
>>224793745Well, it was banned at first apparently so my first sentence is nonsense.
>>224793745>removing the ability to kick people when they are laying on the ground and removing the ability to blast people's heads offOut of all the stuff you can do it seems absurd removing that
>>224791967still a good game ngl
>>224793781It's understandable because of "le gorey" but the whole game is you just killing people left and right so it doesn't make much sense.
>>224793882For me it's running people over with the combine harvester
>>224792589Damn it's been a minute since I've seen it.It would be "br?" That posts it. How are the modern iterations? Any significant change?
>>224793909Oh yeah, I totally forgot about that. There was a specific mission for it as well from The Truth.
>>224791894Been playing Arma Reforger and Forefront. Currently just waiting for the Steam Frame to release so I can replace my old and busted Index. Hopefully I don't get screwed over by the random lottery, I've been waiting for quite some time now.
>>224793425only censored. Like people don't bleed and you can't punch while they are on ground. And I don't think that you could uncensore it by switching language to english like in GTA3 and Vice City.
modded minecraft>figured out how to use nature paste, a bonemeal variant that works on sugar cane unlike normal bone meal, to keep a one block farm running>need sugar to create biofuel>next challenge is a netherrack source for cinder flour for biofuel>modpack doesnt have an easy way to generate netherrack, either i use a drill contraption to mine tens of thousands per nether trip or potentially rely on dozens of tiled occultism battlefields, basically blocks that generate mob drops, with netherrack being one of thosefor a free modpack, this has been quite enjoyable to problem solve and figure out thingsmy main goal is to automate everything using a mix of create and occultism, create a working sub, ships armed with cannon, an airship, maybe a few train stations and trains for the hell of it, then beat a few bosses that the mods have added
>>224794450Which mods? I've honestly never really delved into Minecraft mods, it seems to be a whole other world.
I don't play video games anymore, I make video games.
>>224792420>>224792483I do play other games whenever I can i finished ff7 rebirth last month, dota and aoe ii are fun pvp games.
>>224794562Based what games do you make>>224792675I thought it was pretty great from an outsider's view hmm
>>224792663I 100% GTA III last month. Rage inducing experience I loved it.
>>224794868Richfag
Im playing Indiana jones and the great circle which is a very international game but so far im not gagging
>>224794868Millionaire brahmins from Mumbai posting here?
>>224791894haven't been playing games for awhilebut here you gorimworld, openRCT2, 3030 deathwar redux (mid game but ok), old total war games, endless sky, densha de go game final
>>224797296Gonna do that after 100%ing GTA SA. GTA III is actually my favourite GTA despite GTA SA being objectively better.https://youtu.be/qqpTq9_rf_Q?si=XtfNDdGKNYDve8gh
Valorant with my niggas and Persona 5
i bought death penalty (some fungerlike) I really enjoyed the demo then i decompiled the files on rpgmaker and it really peaked my interest (although i spoiled myself quite a few things because the dev just had the complete game files in the demo for whatever reason), also i want to be the first to make a guide on youtube to prop up my shitty channelIt's also one of the only three pc games i actually spent money on, i usually just pirate shit but not only is the game probably never coming out pirated but i also like the work of this dev
>>224794466its a create modpack, its essentially an entirely new game, basically adding mechanical force via cogs, shafts, gears, and it's addons allow for physics based vehicles and morealso a few magic, cooking, extra plants, decorative block mods etc.
with flashpoint for flash games, retroarch for classic games, old free mmorpgs like tibia, and free open-source games like the elder scrolls 2: daggerfall unity, openttd, and the powder toy, there’s already an overwhelming amount of f2p content to enjoy without stressing yourself out. i think around 800 to 900 games in my steam library have just been sitting there untouched because i’ve never even had the chance to play them.
>>224791894EDF6Solar ExpanseA few eroge all at the same time
>>224797647>because the dev just had the complete game files in the demo for whatever reasonActually, RPG Maker games come with the full game, I used to crack/decompile RPG Maker XP games like ten fifteen years ago when I had a PC with no graphics card. RPG Make games and GBA/SNES emulator games, that's all I could play on my PC. I actually started game dev because of RPG Maker XP and made small money off tileset commissions.>>224797970Based fellow blendlet
trying to get all the cheevos for RE4also "playing" MGS4 but I pirated that shit
Ive been playing through onimusha, ive only got 3 bosses left before i beat carnage mode. May aswell platinum it because I spent a bit more than i wanted to on itDokyos voice in german is pure sex
>>224791894kingdom hearts 3 and a bit of fire emblem engage
>>224791894Far Cry 2, Rimworld, Exanima. I pirate everything i don't have steam hour records
>>224791894Installed some of my old games again. Patrizier II and American Conquest. AC was a pain in the ass to get to run on Linux, but man was it worth it.
