I think I'm one of the few people who's researched these bizarre videos.
They're cardamon pods.
The place is a commodities exchange, like a stock exchange but for physical products that are being traded.
The guys at the computers are traders or agents for companies that buy quantities of cardamon from the sellers, farmers.
The guys throwing cardamon at them are handing out samples of the commodity (cardamon) that the traders are assessing for quality to determine what price they're going to bid for whatever quantity.

This is the principle of it, but you know how they are: they just imitate the superficial parts of a civilised process and expect a civilised result.
