The Pusher goes from terrifying to pathetic if you look up an image of a drained British narrowboat canal and realise just how pathetically shallow and easy to stand up in they are.UK canals aren't known for strong currents and almost always are 4 feet deep in the middle, or less. Literally knee-deep near the sides.Provided they're not unconscious, there's literally nothing stopping the Pusher's victims from simply standing up in shallow water and waiting until he walks away.
