The Pusher (sloppily invented by the media who still don't know how easy it is to stand up in UK narrowboat canals) goes from terrifying to pathetic if you look up an image of a drained British narrowboat canal and realise just how pathetically shallow and easy to stand up in they are.UK canals aren't known for strong currents and almost always are 4 feet deep in the middle, or less. Literally knee-deep near the sides.Provided they're not unconscious, there's literally nothing stopping the Pusher's victims from simply standing up in shallow water and waiting until he walks away.In b4 the 'b-b-ut you can drown in an inch of water' cliche, yeah, if you're unconscious.
