ITT we discuss the pros and cons of our country's healthcare system. I'll start:>JapanIt's basically like what Obamacare wanted to be but couldn't because Americans are retarded. There is one health insurance plan for everybody. No 'platinum plans' and 'gold plans' here. They take like 10,000 yen out of my paycheck each month and in return I can see a doctor whenever I want. Walk-in clinics without an appointment are the norm in Japan. No more of this 'checking to make sure your doctor accepts your insurance' bullshit. The other day I received care plus a week's worth of meds for $20.

Take medication that lowers cholesterol and curbs your hunger. Tired? Here's some cocain. In pain? I hope you like Oxy.

When my mom's cervical cancer was diagnosed, she got into treatment immediately. She had surgery and regular check ups for five years until she was declared cancer free. That was over 15 years ago and we never paid a dime.Whatever else might suck in this country, my experience with the healthcare system has never been one.

If you can't get many normal patients to comply with taking their insulin shots on time or to take their warfarin to not die, how will you convince them to follow a strict diet/gym routine?
