How is it possible for an entire society to get addicted to drugs or alcohol? Everyone is told from young age that drugs are bad and ruin your life. I can kinda understand when someone overuses the medicine drugs (painkillers due to chronic pain, or alcohol due to crippling social anxiety) but there's people who become sad or aggressive after they drink! Yet they overdrink anyway! what is wrong with them?!

It’s pretty complicated, once you get addicted most of the time you can’t really stop yourself from drinking more or something, I get aggressive when drinking but it’s not really something I can control

Starting in 2020 November I felt extremely shitty like a full blown panic attack and was under a lot of stress studying, couldn't work because shits was closed due to quarantine so I had the bright idea of just taking a little sip from my bottle collection stash. Took away all the anxiety felt great and motivated then it just slowly started getting out of control. I tell you this it is not healthy for a mf to be so socially isolated and having absolutely no fucking support, you start getting very stupid ideas in such a state.
