UK or USA
Which is good for you to live?
>>
When it comes to healthcare access specifically, UK is so vastly superior that it's not even funny. Triage and reasonable waiting times are a part of having an actually functioning healthcare system.
>>
>>225025478
i have free healthcare
>>
>>225025478
California, as long as you don't live in a shitty part of an urban core. It's basically free if you're poor and if you're rich you just go to one of the world leading hospitals.
>>
>>225025511
How did you get it?
>>
>>225025478
>>225025593
Much like you did, pvt Gomez.
>>
bottom is also available here
amerilards for some reason think only public healthcare exists in Europe
and turn off the VPN, it's embarrassing
>>
>>225025649
It should unironically be illegal though. Read all the recent data coming out of Sweden from how it leads to overtreatment, massive inefficiencies, reallocation of human capital and increased strain on the public sector.
>>
>>225025478
Neither
>>
>>225025719
that happens everywhere
>increased strain on the public sector
I have a shitty office job in a public hospital, here nurses have to manage doctors' private appointments, it's so stupid, I don't even know why they are allowed to work privately in a public hospital
>>
>>225025478
UK
because I can use NHS but I also have health insurance and can go private if I want to.
>>
>>225026037
>why they are allowed to work privately in a public hospital
Pay them enough and they won't bother working for themselves.
>le doctors should spend 7 years of college getting assraped and 3 years of residency assrape and work for peanuts hurrrrrr
Cool no decent doctor will ever step foot in a public hospital and you'll be left with the bottom of the barrel who couldn't make it in the private sector + if you nuke the whole field by making public service compulsory they'll just immigrate/new graduates will leave the field and you'll hire Jeet doctors. Everything is a market either pay them or stop complaining
>>
My nan had to wait three fucking months for her knee replacement I was fucking fuming
Called up to complain daily. Even came to some of her appointments to have a go and the muppets still didn't expedite it
The american system is so far fucking superior its not even fucking funny
She had to use a stick for two whole fucking months she was in so much pain and they didn't even fucking care
>>
>>225026302
>bongjeets don't have both private and nationalized care
Lol
Lmao
>>
like most things in america things are pretty good unless you are poor
if you are poor you are simply a bad person who doesnt deserve anything from society
so the solution to every problem is to simply not be poor
>>
>>225026335
why the FUCK should she have to pay a single fucking PENNY towards surgery when its her fucking RIGHT to have one as soon fucking as
three months is a fucking JOKE
burnham's fucking britain down the fucking PAN
>>
>>225026335
we do, he's just a poorfag that can't afford it and would rather moan and scream like a retard achieving nothing.
>>

Just sign up for Bupa then retard
>>
>>225025478
750 Dolleroos is quite a hefty price tag tho.
>>
>>225026442
Once you pay those $750 all your healthcare expenses are free for the rest of the year
>>
>>225026302
>My nan had to wait three fucking months for her knee replacement I was fucking fuming
You do get how that's a good thing though?
>>
>>225025478
If the queue is too big in the public healthcare system you can pay for an appointment the private system (if you have the money), which will cost a little less because they have to compete with the public system
>>
>>225025478
750 is just for the handshake, lol
>>
>>225025478
>$750
LOL!
>>
>>225026668
*which will cost a little less than it would if the public system didn't exist
>>
>>225025478
Neither
UK=Full of Pajeets
USA=Full of Niggers

I'd rather live in Asia
>>
>>225025719
The waiting lines will go up exponentially if you force everyone to use the public system. You'd think you can just solve the problem forming more healthcare workers but they would just move to a country paying better wages in their private system. This is exactly what happens with Canada. Having two options is the ideal, the lack of options is the problem
>>
>>225026741
Cuba solved this by not letting people leave
>>
>>225025478
I'm cheap, so I'll always take the option where I don't have to pay.
>>
>>225025593
Same as you
>>
>>225027244
1/4th of cubas population has left the country since 2020
>>
the best option is to not get sick and look after your body, if you're a responsible person and don't have shit genes you shouldn't need much healthcare before the age of 70
>>
>>225026741
This.
Wealthy people will self-segregate and go into the private system for better convenience or luxury accommodations, leaving the public system for the people who couldn't afford to go private.

>>225026589
Then it's fucking cheap. Even students pay mroe for healthcare here with roughly 1200€ a year.
>>
>>225027908
What was your visit?
I am not used to pay the doctor since he is covered fully over my insurance.
>>
>>225027908
>30000 dollarydoos
>But for (you), valued customer, only $250
This seems like a scam. Like, I know your doctors are very good, but there's no way you'd deliberately construct a billing scheme like this for an honest business.
>>
>>225025478
>$750
>>
>>225030134
Thats on top of insurance (albeit their insurance can be cheaper than ours)
>>
>>225031134
It is a bit of a scam, but they (mostly) scam the insurance company your employer or the government pays the monthly subscription fee for.
>>
>>225025478
American healthcare is better if you have a good job and good insurance, but you can also be sacked immediately with no notice period then get ligma and become bankrupt. The NHS is slow for a lot of things but fine for emergencies. People moan like fuck that their little toe surgery will be done in months, but it's not fucking important. Cancer treatment waiting times are getting worse though. Oldies and foreigners are the cause for the NHS going to shit, people claim it's due to a lack of funding but it gets so much money it's ridiculous.
>>
>>225026335
We do, I had it at my old job and private here is still significantly cheaper than the burger version. I paid 5 quid a month at my last place for BUPA.
>>
>>225026371
>burnham's fucking britain down the fucking PAN
That's not even his fault, it's his predecessors, isn't it?
>>
>>225032515
That's what they all say, it's a great way to try and shift the blame. The country was going to shit under the Tories, Starmer accelerated that and Burnham is making it even worse.
>>
>>225026302
>My nan had to wait three fucking months for her knee replacement
That's what she deserves for bombing Dresden
>>
>>225025501

Not at all, I needed a scan of my lymph nodes and had to wait a month!!!
Fuck this commie shit I could've died

>>
>>225025478
British people pay for healthcare too, it’s funded through their taxes.

The American system is of course better, because are treated as adults: they pay for private health insurance themselves, and depending on their coverage and circumstances, it provides better access and quality of care. Insurance companies are specialized in managing healthcare coverage, whereas in the British system, the state is responsible for running a large part of the healthcare system, which leads to a heavy bureaucracy and inefficiency.
>>
>>225026302
>knee replacement
should have taken care of herself. your nan didn't exercise or diet properly. her fucking fault.
>>
>>225025478
The NHS is so dysfunctional it's not even funny. They even place an arbitrary cap of 7500 medical students a year to make sure there are no new doctors being trained. Downright evil people
>>
>>225025478
nobody is paying 750 out of pocket in the US for major surgery. They'd be paying thousands with insurance.
>>
>>225025625
Callate pendejo
>>
>>225033150
that's the whole point of it. If people are old and don't wanna be alive anymore then why should we waste money treating them and have old people clogging up the hospitals?
>>
>>225033419
they shouldn't. it's a completely sensible and human system that saves the country billions of dollars but people will seethe over anything.
>>
>>225033264
private health insurance is very expensive itself though, like 600 a month Ive heard and they cause lots of headaches on needing approvals t o get procedures done.
>>
>>225025478
is this the only cope ameritards have?
I always get my doctors appointment in the same week. same days if its an emergency.

>>
>>225034171
It would be better to just raise everyone's taxes by a few hundred a month and have universal care than to just have people get private insurance. America spends more per capita on health care than countries with actual universal care, so there's so much waste and corruption involved.
>>
>>225033334
I think its more than that but youre right it is mental that we have the people who are willing and able to study as doctors but we choose to import more.
>>
>>225025478
The UK has a huge problem with migrants and police/government corruption but the USA has far more deep-seated issues such as fluoridated water, unhealthy foods and gun violence.
The government very blatantly favors large corporations and the people enjoy little if any protection. If Meta wants to build a deafeningly loud, tap water-polluting data center right next to your house there's basically nothing you can do about it.
As an employee you have no security in anything either, you can be fired at a moment's notice and your health insurance is often tied to your job so you'd lose that as well.

Foods are basically all garbage, again, corporations are rarely forbidden from doing anything so they can spray all manner of harmful chemicals all over your food and make frankenstein products out of tons of purely artificial components.
There's also plenty of less-relevant downsides that overall still end up to a shittier image, such as them using the imperial system, the toxic tipping culture in restaurants, normalization of circumcision and general isreal worship, people wearing shoes in the house, prevalence of niggers and nigger culture, overpriced cardboard houses, soulless suburbia, terrible public transportation and even a lack of options to fucking walk to nearby places.
Also their bitches with vocal fry and fake smiles are fucking annoying. Actually the smiles aren't even fake, they're just on drugs. In America it's normal to take drugs if you feel bad about literally anything.
Basically it's a really horrible country and I would never want to live there.
>>
>>225030134
It is, which is why i find funny when i see people coping about USA healthcare, mostly europeans.
>>
>>225036907
It's not real m8.
Also they pay a much higher share of the state budget for healthcare to just then also pay an insurance to then even have to pay for a part of it out of your own pocket.

Imagine you pay taxes for that, then you pay an insurance for that and then you still end up with a bill that high for some simple procedure that is free even in shitholes like fucking mexico.

Who the fuck cares when americans end up making more money in general after all the taxes and primary expenses like healthcare
>Oh no i need to pay $10.000 a year in healthcare, not like i still end up making more money than anyone else in the world except the swiss!

Americans cant suffer
>>
>>225037105
The thing is that they end up paying trice as much while not earning trice as much.
It just isn't an efficient system it looks more like very successful lobbying for max cashing in.
I don't want that. I think that will end up very badly here. I don't trust the whole model of the US. They look like brazilifying any moment.
>>
>>225037105
you'll be surprised how many americans earn GOOD money but still live paycheck to paycheck
>>
>>225026741
It empirically does not.
>>225034318
Yes, mixed systems siphons human resources from the public system and frequently offloads cases where complications occur, as well as the more complex cases back onto the public system.
>>
>>225037195
Also what does it help me having more money when I can't get any value for it? It seems that everything in the US is made to directly extract that money for as little value as possible. Because they simply don't have consumer rights. They are not fighting monopolies. They are fully under the control of lobby groups.
>>
>>225037105
I like that you're posting a graphic that expressly excludes private expenditure on healthcare, schooling, childcare etc.
>>
>>225037264
I would've thought those cases would be in the public system if they weren't already being dealt with privately
>>
>>225037620
Perhaps initially, but rereferrals occur due to a general unwillingness among private healthcare providers to manage complications (i.e. simple cases becoming more complex), a tendency to overtreat/overtest, a greater willingness to use higher cost, less effective treatments (which also frequently cause complications) as well as refusing complex cases. This is a well-known issue in healthcare economics, with the Nordic countries having acted as something of a testbed in the past couple decades.
>>
>>225037711
The unwillingness sounds bizarre. Wouldn't you do more when you're being compensated better for it
>>
>>225037761
Not at all, private healthcare providers are incentivized to maximize profits and thus spend as little time as possible on each individual case. They want quick, simple surgical cases and as little post-operative care as possible.
>>
>>225037761
Not every treatment is profitable. Especially if you have a deadly disease meaning you can't pay when you're dead.
I private company has to make the money back that it spends somehow.
>>
>>225037827
That's tragic. I've got second thoughts on going private
>>
>>225037837
They need to be overseen. The money is there to do this
>>
>>225025478
do amerigolems really believe there is no private healthcare in Europe???
>>
>>225025478
>looks at life expectancies
UK is blatantly the superior one here, even with all its flaws
Also, Americans need to get this: PRIVATE INSURANCE STILL EXISTS IN THE UK
THE BONGS LITERALLY HAVE BOTH, YOU'RE NOT FORCED TO USE THE NHS
>>
>>225027244
Cuba is one of the few communist states actually virtuous enough to let their people emigrate and not fucking murder them for it (looking at you, East Germany)
>>
>>225030134
That's because its a lie. I once had a broken ankle that costed me about 2K in doctor visits and physical therapy, on top of what I pay monthly for insurance. I also had to call 10 doctors before I found one with availability within 1-2 weeks.

>have major surgery two days later

>totalled 100k plus
>parents already met out of pocket

worked out for me, all you really need is good insurance
hospitals artificially inflate the bill and insurance companies negotiate it down to a quarter the cost. you can do this yourself but it’s generally smart to just have insurance, it usually is mostly paid by your company. stupid system, thoughever.
