renewables can't always provide the same amount of electricity, when it's little wind or little sun it can be a problem
you can either fix this with electricity storage (very expensive) or with some form of electricity production that's not dependent on the weather, imo the best option here is nuclear bc it's carbon neutral
so imo we should do the bulk of electricity production with renewables and a little bit with nuclear
although it's debatable if building new NPPs would be economical now, but imo it's unquestionable that shutting down & demolishing the existing ones was a bad decision

There's a German language school on every other street here. All the kids seem to think Germany is the upper levels of heaven. I even saw a German girl painted on the wall of a kindergarten next to the Smurfs and a bunch of superheroes.
I genuinely don't know why they think like this, Germany is the most depressing country in Europe in my experience and purchasing power after tax is not even particularly high anymore.
It's like people here are stuck in the 80s. A lot of them seem to be getting visas though.

because there are multiple language testing organisations and they pick the easy ones where you can basically cheat. I've been told plus have first hand experience with moroccan "B1" german (they can't understand anything)

Germany has higher salaries on paper but quality of life is way worse than Spain, France or Italy imo. Germany is just obscenely ugly, I'm sorry. i know the Allies are to blame but still it feels like living in hell to me. 20% more Euros after tax to spend on Aldi canned fish and renting a Soviet looking apartment just doesn't cut it for me. Restaurants are also obscenely expensive for some reason.

I had to live in Hamburg because of work for three months. I've driven up and down to Switzerland and never saw anything I like. Specially compared to France or Italy. Maybe I missed it. This was in summer and I lived in a high end apartment. I cant imagine what its like in winter in the Turkish commieblocks. I wonder if they ever think of going home.

One thing I'll give you is that everything is sparkling clean and organized, and people are nice and honest. Plus the brown infestation is not even close to French levels (yet).
