In my journey to learn more about the culture and history of the Balkans I came across this fella. His name is Skanderbeg and he was an Albanian who fought Ottoman Turks centuries ago. He did good and stalemated them for some years until he ack'd and then his country got slimed again almost immediately.In a way he's the Founding Father, Mohammed, Ataturk and Napoleon of Albania. Skanderbeg is sacrilegious to Albania and has been propelled as a national icon. This is also partly because they don't have a lot of other 'heroes' to glorify and have gone all in on him.

Plus, he was a feudal lord primarily looking after his realm.
