I genuinely cannot comprehend people visiting theme parks like Disney. I can understand going to attraction parks because of rollercoasters and other rides but something about walking around in a film set build to sell souvenirs is insane.

One thing I dislike about these parks is the fake buildings with forced perspective to make them look big. Why not build a real-life Cinderela castle or a 1:1 recreation of Hogwarts? I don't think it would be that expensive with today's construction methods and would make the parks much more immersive and popular.

>>225035572i really liked it as a kid and once went as a teenager with familyrides are cool and really only half the park is disney franchise themed. there is a futurism area, bayou area, frontier area, etc. the aesthetics are quite impressive and they do a really good job with stuff like pirates of the caribbean and space mountain that adults can appreciate. this doesn’t excuse adults who cream themselves seeing someone in a goofy suit, though.that being said i won’t go again unless i have crotch goblins to bring. uber expensive and i imagine shoulder to shoulder with indians now.

You know, I actually get it: for the longest time IQ80-90 people were forced to read books, look after their bodies, watch somewhat demanding movies and listen to music that had some sort of message, but now with more refined consumer behavior research the entertainment business can better target the semi-retarded, impulsive, regressive needs of such people.
