Having a good personality is like being able to throw a ball. The distance you’ll be able to throw it will be determined by genetics/upbringing and some people will innately always be able to throw it further than you. But you should be able to throw a ball yourself and train yourself to throw it better than you would with zero training, if that makes sense.
