In modern Polish movies there is a very common cliche>A Polish woman left her conservative backward village to avoid getting forced by her xenophobic parents to date their male Polish neighbor (fat drunkard), she made it to a big hustling bustling international western city where she would work hard to get by and stay independent but one day she met an amazing super handsome lovely Asian/African/Latin/Med guy who she started dating and took him to her village to show him to her parents. The parents were at first angry and told her to quit the relationship but after a while (and a thousand of boomer-tier gags and misunderstandings) they realize that this guy is exactly who they want to be their son-in-law, so the movie ends with a Big Fat Polish Wedding where the whole village dances, sings and eats kielbasa. no idea why they are doing this

And i was watching it and they took a polish girl from the village to Hamburg in Germany to 2 polish hookers and i thought WTF is this? i figured out it´s that "Frauentausch" tv-show the polish version, they literally tried to make a prostitute out of that village Magdalena. But i find that super weird. Also all the other shows are knockoffs of german tv-shows like "Szkola" or that detective police shows are also from Germany like "K11" or "Alarm für Cobra11".... polish tv was like a bad LSD trip
>>225053953I think these shows are popular low-tier entertainment in all TVs of the world, you can see similar stuff in the UK, US and probably everywhere else.Generally it's better not to watch TV at all if you want to stay healthy. Hope you enjoyed your stay in Poland tho
