I've been on vacation in Spain this October for a week and honestly, bros, I've grown to really love this country. I'm seriously considering moving to Murcia, specifically southern Spain, and the more time I spend here the more convinced I get that Spain is genuinely one of the best places in Europe to live.The weather alone is AWESOME. It's October and it feels like late august, you can still swim comfortabtly, meanwhile September still feels like hot summer. Coming from Croatia/Zagreb, being able to enjoy this kind of weather alone for so much of the year is a massive selling point. The food, the architecture, the plazas, the slower pace of life, people actually being outside in the evenings, everything feeling alive even on an ordinary weekday. I love the whole atmosphere. Spain just has a character that a lot of northern European countries seem to lack.Murcia also seems relatively affordable compared to a lot of western Europe, especially if you aren't trying to live in Madrid or Barcelona. Why pay a fortune to live somewhere cold and miserable when you can live in the south of Spain? I wonder if southern Europe is being underestimated. Everyone seems obsessed with northern European salaries, yet what's the point of earning more if your cost of living eats it all up and the climate and lifestyle are miserable? I'd rather have a modest income somewhere I genuinely enjoy living than spend my life chasing a higher salary in a place I hate.if any spaniard reads this your country is awesome. and your football culture is great too
how do you exactly plan to make a living?
Thank you for your good comments about Spain. Most people don´t get that besides the sun we have a great quality of life because of many other reasons.The more you travel around Spain the more you will find hundreds of new good places. Just learn some Spanish.

I want to visit madrid too and tabernas, etc. Their trains are apparently awesome as well, takes only 2 hours to reach Madrid from murcia
