What do you think of your country's english accent?
it's bad
>>225472514it's ok,for the people that do know how to speak it properly the very few of them
>>225472514idk i mostly cant hear iti do think the hebrew accent of english speakers is very cute there's all sorts of words that they pronounce in funny ways
On women it's a top 5 accentOn men it's whatever
>>225472773Yeah nah
Its crap>>225472671Hebrew accent sounds funny af to me if thats the one rabbi yosef mizrachi has
>>225472773aur naur
>>225472805who?
>>225472773As an Amerishart I am confused by the seeming lack of regional accents here. Some Melbourne people sound a bit gay, and South Australians say like one word different, but I don't think you can honestly tell a guy from Perth apart from a Brisbane nigga. I have a Philadelphia accent and people don't even think it's American because it doesn't appear in movies.
the neutral one women have (because they're more concerned with the social indicators of accents) that pervades the country is quite nice soft donegal accents on men and soft northern Irish accents on women are nicedon't like the rest
>>225472514never cared, no one speaks that language fluently here
>>225472903The accent divide in Australia is urban/rural but even then it isn't that strong. Remember that Australia had fewer settlers, they came at a later time than in America, and they were also less isolated than in America so they assimilated quickly into our accent which is noticeably close to south-eastern English working class accents.
>>225472903>>225472974Also Melbournites sound gay because they are gay. If you go to a country pub or bush doof you'll hear a stronger accent. If you watch old news footage you'll see that our accent has changed a lot in the last 50 years. There's a wog accent too (think Fat Pizza) and an abbo accent but neither are really australian.
>>225472514we donto speaku ingurishu
>>225473024No there are presumably straight pozzbournians who have the subtle gay accent. Like the old leader of the Greens. Just this effeteness that they probably think makes them sound educated. But yeah it's more of a race/class thing. There's also an islander/wigger accent up here in QLD. As in it's the same accent: Culture Kings crackas saying "bru" an sheit.
It's shit here.
>>225473077Yeah I'm also in QLD and have run across the coconut accent, but that one is more straight up foreign considering they sound the same in new zealand etc. The effeteness thing is real, they are faggots whether or not they actually fuck men.
It sounds like a gruff delinquent speaking in a dry emotionless tone.
>>225472945What does Portugal Portuguese sound like to you? Do you like it?
We don't have one.
>>225472514perfect
>>225473601sound like russian and it's soulless
i wish i had a southern lilt or a boston accent instead of this grating standard american accent
>>225472514It's great. We speak Manglish. Singsings speak the similar Singlish. We use it to quickly identify our countrymen when overseas. Malaysians will quickly close ranks when overseas, regardless of race, religion or politics. The password is "dah makan?". Only a Malaysian will ask this.
>>225472514Retarded, but not as bad as Sweden's
>>225472514unintelligible.
>>225472773>Top 5 accentAbsolutely delusional, Australian accent on a woman is coarse, removed every bit of femininity from women
>>225474390>vietnam>tonal shitfest>australia>vowel quality and t/d/r ambiguity>t. Phuc Dat Bic
>>225473760low Key New England and Scottish are the most masculine accents followed by Southern.

>>225472514Cringe
>>225472773its sucks. british, american, german, french accents all mog
>>225472514The quebec english accent is an atrocity
>>225475824Is it worse than the Toronto accent?
>>225475934Yes
