Idk about the other celtic nations but Brittany is the region in France with the best quality of life and people are flocking here en masse and have been for years now. I guess success breads jealousy.

Having a few hundred or a few thousand people who can say basic phrases in the language doesn't mean the culture and distinct group is still alive.The Irish are barely hanging on, I think around 10% of their already tiny population speaks any Irish at all. The Welsh are really the only Celts who have a decent sized community nowadays, and even they're in rapid decline.
