How do you feel about the minority language(s) of your country? Do you speak any of them or would you ever consider learning one?

This map isn't accurate. There's should be more on this map in Russia. Like Chavash, Kalmyk, Asdygei, Circassian (same shit but anyway), Erzya, Moksha, Mari, Tatar.

Why does the UK love people who speak Urdu and Arabic but hate people who speak Welsh?

They exist but I don't think about them too much.
I'm guessing this means minor languages that aren't national and don't have their own state, not languages spoken by a minority like for example Czech.
>Do you speak any of them or would you ever consider learning one?
No, my grandparents know Venetian tho.
I'm not particularly interested in any of them.
From my knowledge we have: Venetian (Fiumano), Istriot, Istro-Romanian (too divergent from modern Romanian), Romani (Gypsy), Rusyn and maybe others I forgot. Special mention to Arbanasi (variety of Gheg Albanian)
Chakavian and Kajkavian are just Croatian but idk if they should be listed since Polish, French and Italian local varieties are mentioned on the map.

I think basque is cool and deserves to be protected even though I understand the contradiction because it's doomed to be replaced by spanish over time (it already is).

I'm galician and even though I appreciate the language and the different aspects of our culture any language other than spanish is just set to disappear or be disolved and people have to come to terms with that fact. Every time I hear people speak "galician" most of the vocabulary they use is just spanish anyways since they are similar languages, and so a lot of unique terminology gets lost over time. Then there's the fact of birthrates and demographic replacement, which accelerate the decay.
