tried watching sebastiane (1976) and had to stop after like 20 minutes because it is basically softcore gay porn. i thought it would be a comfy watch because the dialogues are in latin and the sets/costumes are quite colourful and flamboyant (as they should be, unlike modern historicalslop where everything is grey and bland) plus the ost is by brian eno, however, this shit is unwatchable. in the first scene, a few semi-naked guys with massive fake dicks "cum" all over some bald dude that is also semi-naked and somehow that is not the gayest scene in the first 20 minutes. i knew it was going to be gay, but damn.
