They couldn't resist a .50cal, they were more armoured cars than anything so armoured warfare is a moot point. In 1933 Germany wasn't fully rearmed either so Poland really could swamp them with infantry and cavalry

I think 1933 Poland would win in most direct confrontations. But it would not be the kind of one sided war that 1939 was. We never had the capacity to actually occupy large parts of Germany either. Or reach their demographic/industrial heartland and cripple it. So any prolonged conflict would favour them heavily.Best we could hope for was probably pushing for +/- our counter border (and the entire East Prussia), fortifying it and trying to hold onto that. And hoping that USSR and Czecholovakia do not decide to play ball.

WW2 Germany was not le based sci-fi empire but a bandit horde that made it up as they went along. If France had invaded them in 1939 before they looted Poland, they would have lost.
