balkan origin people, who make up 5% of turkey's population, constantly look down on us anatolian turks. even the darkest balkaners are considered nordic in turkey. we feel like indians when compared to them. actors, artists and athletes we see on television, as well as all the "turks" that foreigners find beautiful and handsome are actually of balkan origin. does this happen in your country as well?
