I daydream about Finland, particularly about the 80s post-punk/goth/wave scene in Helsinki, how I could have saved Jore, how I could have saved Milli, etc.. Sometimes there are supernatural or sci-fi elements, such as time travel, and sometimes it's more grounded. Areas of interest include Lepakko, Tavastia, Hanko (a commonly pictured vacation spot) and Saaremaa island, site of the former Finnish artists' commune, where I will visit someday; I believe I have located the abandoned building which was meant to be Jore's recording studio. I've read much about it in the Finnish Maoist archives. I read also the old stories tag from 000 blog and some fb pages (Jore's page, vanhat punkit) which include locations and people of interest. I should have been there. I don't know... I'm sorry I wasn't there.
