So I figured out in a while I'll become fluent in Japanese, at least when it comes to reading and listening. So it would be time to keep my promise and resume Russian again. But the sheer of lack compared to Japanese is daunting. What do you even have? CCCP movies?
*lack of media
I have absolutely no clue what type of content there's in Japanese besides their cartoons.I think the only language, besides English, worth learning that could somehow bring new experience is Chinese, which I don't think is being that unique and interesting but at least the language and culture/society are 'different'. All other languages have very narrow purposes and learning them in a general way seems pointless to me.
>>226028789>what type of content there's in Japanese besides their cartoons.Visual novels, light novels, manga, i use all of them to learn japanese through immersion. Maybe I'll just stick to learning conversational russian and move to immersion from there. I already have a 5 year foundation because I studied russian in university but I couldn't even watch soviet movies so i got disappointed and dropped it after graduating. With Japanese I'm making real progress, maybe because I have developed a real method.
>>226028587There are some good old series and plenty of old movies, I think. Also literature. As for the modern media idk. I don't consume modern Russian media almost at all aside some vloggers.
>>226028835>Visual novelsNot the anon, but I tried them in my school years. I couldn't honestly. I better read a book or read some manga.
>>226028587Any media you want but with Russia dubs/subs?
