By the way, did you know there were two types of this flag used by the Imperial Japanese Army?Originally, it was a flag used for celebrations.It had long been used on fishing boats and other vessels, where it was hoisted as a prayer for a safe return to shore and a bountiful catch.The Imperial Japanese Navy simply adopted it as a remnant of that tradition.
Here is just seen as part of the car culture since many of them use the imperial flag as some short of aesthetic
